No último dia 10, foram anunciados os indicados ao Globo de Ouro 2016. O longa-metragem Carol lidera com 5 indicações, entre elas, Melhor Filme Dramático, Melhor Diretor e Melhor Atriz Dramática. Já no âmbito televisivo, a grande surpresa fica a cargo da nomeação do brasileiro Wagner Moura como Melhor Ator de Drama e da maravilhosa série Outlander, indicada a Melhor Série de Drama, Melhor Atriz de Drama e Melhor Ator Coadjuvante (como ousam esnobar Sam Heughan, Hollywood Foreign Press Association?).

A premiação ocorrerá no dia 10 de janeiro e será apresentada por Ricky Gervais.
